The Inaugural Uncatchable Concert Series April 9, 2022; May 14, 2022; June 11, 2022 The Mash House Stage at Call Family Distillery in Wilkesboro, NC. Spring performances include Black Stone Cherry on April 9th, Aaron Tippin with Whey Jennings and CJ Ballard Band on May 14th and Muscadine Bloodline on June 11th.
April 28, 2022 - May 1, 2022 Wilkes Community College-Wilkesboro, NC Merlefest is considered one of the premier music festivals in the country, serving as a homecoming for musicians and music fans. Merlefest is a celebration of ‘traditional plus’ music- a unique mix of music based on the traditional, roots-oriented sounds of the Appalachian region, including bluegrass and old-time music, and expanded to include Americana, country, blues, rock and many other styles. Beech’s Bloomin Craft Festival
Saturday, April 30, 2022 Buckeye Recreation Center at Beech Mountain This festival will feature food, entertainment and regional craftspeople displaying handmade jewelry, woodcrafts, pottery and more! Pinecones & Pages: The Boone Literary Festival May 14, 2022 Daniel Boone Amphitheater Actors will become characters directly from the page! The festival culminates with a literary/musical show starring Nashville hitmakers and world class musicians.
June 9 - June 12, 2022 Appalachian Theatre of the High Country, Boone & Chetola Resort, Blowing Rock The inaugural High Country Jazz festival will take place in Boone and Blowing Rock. Anchor events will take place in the newly reopened Appalachian Theatre and under the tent at Chetola Resort. Enjoy outdoor concerts, late night james and jazz lunches and film!
1st Annual Avery County Summer Fest
June 11-12, 2022 Newland Fairgrounds The inaugural open-air Summer fest will feature arts and crafts vendors, craft demonstrations and a food truck rodeo!
Boonerang Music & Arts Festival
June 18, 2022 Downtown Boone, NC Artists with ties to the High Country will return to Boone for the inaugural Boonerang Music & Arts Festival. This free event will feature performances and activities throughout the day at multiple downtown Boone locations.
