Old Time Jams at the Jones House July 1st, 2021 7pm-10pm The Jones House Weekly old-time jams are returning to the Jones House, Thursdays from 7-10pm. Bring an acoustic instrument to play along or just enjoy the music as local musicians play old-time fiddle and folk songs. Music in the Valle July 2nd, 2021 starting at 6pm Valle Crucis Community Park Valle Crucis Community Park welcomes locals and visitors to the park to enjoy live music at the park from a variety of local and regional musicians. Music on the Lawn at Ragged Gardens July 2nd 5:30pm-8:30pm The Inn at Ragged Gardens Head to the lawn at the Inn at Ragged Gardens for an annual concert series every Friday during the months of May through October. A different regional band takes the stage each week, so bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy!
Freedom First Friday Art Crawl July 2nd, 2021 5pm-8pm The Jones House Enjoy an evening of holiday fun and celebrate with Uncle Sam, the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and more characters from all the holidays we didn't get a chance to properly celebrate during the pandemic. The Freedom First Friday Art Crawl will be the first Art Crawl in over a year! Head downtown and enjoy the art exhibits, wine tastings and more! 3rd of July Tailgate at Beech Mountain July 3rd, 2021 6pm-8pm Buckeye Recreation Center This free family friendly event will feature a night filled with fun games, face painting, music and hot dogs! There will be inflatables for the kids to play on and the opportunity to make your own tie-dye art. Blowing Rock 4th of July Parade July 3, 2021 10am Downtown Blowing Rock The town of Blowing Rock provides the best small-town Main Street parade! Local families, musicians, organizations and characters will celebrate the holiday with a patriotic procession.

50th Annual Roasting of the Hog at Beech Mtn July 4th, 2021 4pm-7pm Fred's General Mercantile The 2021 event will be drive-thru style, featuring pork or turkey with all the fixins, followed by fireworks after dark! Boone 4th of July Fireworks July 4th, 7pm-10pm Clawson-Burnley Park (Boone Greenway) Enjoy a family friendly night of music, games, food and a spectacular fireworks display beginning at dusk. Fireworks at Tweetsie July 4th 9:30pm Tweetsie Railroad Enjoy this spectacular fireworks show that's one of the most popular summer events in the mountains! The park is open from 10am-9pm on the 4th and the fireworks will start at 9:30pm.
4th of July Celebration at Beech Mtn Resort
July 4th 5pm-10pm Beech Mountain Resort Enjoy live music with Baby Black and fireworks to cap off the night! Baby Black will perform from 6pm-9pm. There will be an American style cookout and games for all ages. Fireworks will start at dark. Bring the whole family to this FREE night of fun!

Scenic Lift Rides & Firework Display July 4th, 2021 10am-10pm Sugar Mountain Resort The Summit Express chairlift will run on July 4th from 10am-10pm for scenic lift rides. Mountain-top fireworks viewing will begin around 9pm. Boone Bigfoots Summer Baseball July 4th, 2021 3pm Beaver Field at Appalachian State University Boone Bigfoots will play baseball at Appalachian State University's Beaver FIeld against App State Alumni!
