Head to Grandfather Mountain for blaring bagpipes, astounding athletes, dancers and Celtic music, all in a spectacular highland setting! This celebration of Scottish culture is one of the most highly acclaimed highland games in the country.
Chetola Resort

Symphony by the Lake is returning to Chetola Resort for a centerpiece event. Experience a moving performance by the Symphony of the Mountains! Surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge landscape, take your seat by Chetola Lake, under the evening sky and enjoy this exciting summer tradition.

Beech Mountain Resort
Enjoy a free outdoor movie on the slopes at Beech Mountain Resort! Beech Mountain Brewing will be on site serving beer, popcorn, and more snacks. All ages are welcome.

The King Street Farmers' Market features a wide variety of fresh produce, meats, eggs, flowers and more! The market is held every Tuesday at the intersection of W. King Street and Poplar Grove Connector.
Downtown Blowing Rock, every Thursday from 3pm-6pm

Check out a great mid-week selection of local produce and goods. Conveniently located on Park Avenue, right in downtown Blowing Rock.

Thursdays 7pm-10pm
Weekly old-time jams are returning to the Jones House, Thursdays from 7-10pm. Bring an acoustic instrument to play along or just enjoy the music as local musicians play old-time fiddle and folk songs.
July 2nd- October 15th, Fridays at 6pm
Valle Crucis Community Park

The Inn at Ragged Gardens
Head to the lawn at the Inn at Ragged Gardens for an annual concert series every Friday during the months of May through October. A different regional band takes the stage each week, so bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy!
